ECR's web site got me thinking again. Can someone who has the New TD5 Dash measure the Face Plate Bezel or whatever it is called? Total Length and Width please. Have been thinking about doing the conversion but I really do not need or want all those extra buttons. Do not know how to wire them either. Thinking of using all the new parts except the bezel and putting a Mud UK Console cover instead of the factory one. Thinking about putting in a large garmin in and transplanting the clock ciggi lighter and hazard. Any thoughts on this? Really like the darker inset and vent handles. One of my existing handles is jacked so would need a new one anyway.

I thought of the same thing. If someone is willing to mail me the Mud cover I can try it on the bezel I have for the TD5.

I'll nip out and measure my dash shortly and take some piccies.
In the meantime, Here's a pretty good thread, if a little long, on how to fit a Td5 dash to a non-Td5 bulkhead and get all the twinklies working as well. (http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=14892)

Is there anyone that still sells a TD5 dash kit? I want to buy everything needed except the lower dash. I've tried getting a hold of Stephen Peters with no luck. Does anyone know who might sell the parts?

Email Stephen he will get back to you I am sure. Last I heard he had some of the td5 stuff.
I installed the Mud UK dash kit and installed a double din Garmin system. You will run out of room to the rear so I had to modify the rear of the bracket to make it work. It is very tight for space but works and performs great.

I've emailed Stephen a few times and haven't gotten a response. That's why I am asking if there is another source for the parts.

Sorry for that, did you try Lucky8? I know he had some of the MudUK stuff at one point? He is starting to stock a bunch more parts too from what I understand. You could also try George at RDS. Most of his stuff would be take off. Of course Rovers North and Atlantic British carry some of the aftermarket stuff.
