Looking to Trade a 1.2 T-Case For a 1.4... Anyone interested? I have a nice 1.2 t-case that has run royal purple in it for a long time... No leaks. Looking for a 1.4 ratio t-case for a project..

How many miles on the 1.2? My 1.4 needs new output seals, but there were no shavings in the oil. It has almost 150k on it.

I still owe you 35 bucks...

IT has 79k then I put 5k on it in the series coil truck. 150k is a little high.. how long do these thinks last? Is it in your truck now Jim?

T cases last forever as long as they have oil in them. You are getting a deal from JimC as 1.2s are worth about 200 and 1.4s are worth 400-500.

Its sitting on a pallet along with the motor and trans - so its quite accessible and doesn't have to be pulled from the truck. T-cases seem to last longer than the motors and trans if you keep oil in them - they're definitely the best part of the stock drive train. 1.4's usually fetch a bit more than 1.2's, but I could put a little cash with it to make up for the miles.

Follow-up Post:

Ron is faster to the post than me! Anyway, the whole works could use a steam cleaning.

And Ron - You're gonna get a smokin' deal on the motor and trans...

Well, with all the oil leaks that is exactly what we will have if I light a cigarette near it. :)

edit: am I getting the linkage too? I need an LT230 linkage and knob and LT77 shift knob.

If you can get me an r380 one in exchange - I assume they aren't compatible...

The knob you can have.

Jim, I am interested. It will just need new seals. Do you still have my #?

I don't need any of the e-brake stuff by the way. just the case..

I might have your # in an old email, let me check.

I usually come to Jersey on weekends to buy diesel anyway, I can pull the case and bring it to you if you want.

I'm glad you don't need the e-brake stuff, because I do.

Follow-up Post:

Can't find # - PM it?

LT230 linkage is the same b/w R380 and LT77. Thank you for the knob though :)

Oh, right, I was thinking of the shifter, not the linkage.
