Hello all. I have found the D-90 that I am going to buy. This is a very clean truck that has a full service history. It ia a 95' with 47K miles. It comes with a full fiberglass hard top, full bestop , and a bikini top. I would be the 3rd owner. The truck is con. green. The truck does not have A/C. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I look foward to buying this truck and contributing to this forum. Thanks in advance ...

Well only one of them is down there, I removed the list as you can't just click on the links when they are in list format.

I figured I may get something like that. Thanks for the links. However, nothing was discussed about prices paid. I know what people are asking for them. However, asking and selling price are 2 different things. I just want some opinions on what people think the truck is worth. I have seen the truck and it is very nice. It is such a tough thing to price b/c they do not sell every day.

1995 with 47k miles is not bad at all. I'd run a carfax report first, then review the service history (call a friend at a dealership to run the service history would be best) for major work, etc. Then just drive the truck and see how it feels. If you have a friend close by who know 90's have him join you.
Not sure what the owner is asking, but I would think mid-$20's is where he would start depending on mods.
Check ebay for recent sales, NADA guide for retail prices as well as copleymotorcars.com and huntingridgemotors.com for comparable retails sales. LRX should be a good source of recent sale prices.
Good luck!

The reason I posted the links is because you have to know what to look for when you are trying to figure out how much you should pay for a 90. Examples Rust, bad syncros in the tranny, black oil and leaking head gaskets are just a few, you may also want to check e-bay for finished auctions too see how much other people have payed.

Thanks again. I have run a clean carfax report. I have talked to the service center that services the truck. The only major service was a T-Case replacement under warranty at 28K. I have seen the truck in person and driven it. It is the first D-90 that I have driven. It felt like what I expected. The transmission was smooth and it had tons of low end power. The guy says he wants $28 - $29K. I know that is too high but I am not sure what is fair. I just wanted to consult with some people before I made an offer today.

You can buy a 97 for that price. I think $24 - $25 is a fair deal.
