What should the bolts on the transfer case be torqued to? I'm going to open it tomorrow and see what's in it.

that seems a tad high
the spec on the case bolts are fairly low as it is only alum. threads. in any case, tight but not overtight. I use 1/4 drive to prevent stripping the threads.
In any case (pun intended) i would not be concerned about the spec on those bolts. Just tighten them up but not too much. 4 of the 8 have locktite on the threads so they are not going anywhere. Especially after you seal it up with right stuff.
