Interchangeability of parts

Does anyone know a good source of info for part interchangeability between my 97 D-90 and other LR vehicles? I am particularly interested in engine, Tranny, Transfer case, rear end, drive shafts, axles,and brake components.

I run across used RR and Disco parts frequently and cant help but wonder if any of them would be compatible with my vehicle. With transmissions I think that often there are different electrical connections specific to certain vehicles so compatibility can be less obvious.

A 1996-99 disco I will have a compatible mechanical parts "engine, Tranny, Transfer case, rear end, drive shafts, axles,and brake components" with the exception of the front brake rotors and calipers and the brake MC and booster.

Things get weird with little stuff (ie late 1997 discos and up have advanced evap style O2 sensors), but for the most part it is the same.
