Part ID on an SW?

Anyone know what the white box is inside the rear wiper switch console in the dash? It has LR part number of AMR 5159. Sits inside the console next to the three rear screen switches.

Also, can anyone tell me what the engine Alarm is connected to? This is the green box, mounted behind the dash binnacle against the firewall. I never knew their was some alarm. What does it control?

Contemplating ripping them out. :grin

The manual says the green box is the "engine alarm". But I can't figure out what the hell it is....

You missed it today Mike. We started it up. It was sweet....

Smooth as hell. Started on the first turn. Runs like a champ. We drive it tomorrow around the parking lot.

Does the box have a vent in it, like for a speaker?

Maybe the time delay box for the rear window element?

One of these days I really need to hook up all that stuff on mine... wiper, defroster, rear light.

Not too sure, but I do know that I have mine out while I make a switch panel and I have lost intermitant wipe/delay, and the auto dome light w/fade out. Also the alarms for key in the ignition and lights on with key in the ignition don't sound. I do miss the intermitant wipers, but the rest are no loss, to me. fwiw.

Drove it on the road this morning. Rain be damned.... It was sweet. Played with the kick down and got everything just right. Only problem was I couldn't take it over 50 as I don't yet have the new front shocks in.
