Custom Console for a '97?

I'm tired of the stock center console that came with the '97s. There are many options for alternative consoles for Defenders with manual transmissions (Tuffy's are pretty nice). It seems there are no options for those of us that drive the automatic.

Does anyone know of an alternative/replacement (other than stock or the RDS fiberglass copy)?

Anyone else interested in this?

It would be cool to work with someone to design/fab an alternative center console (perhaps in a black, 5-bar checkerplate form?).

Rover Accessories in CA did a Carbon Fiber center console for their 110 project that was the same as the '97. You may try contacting them.

I checked with them on that console and it was an exact reproduction only using Carbon Fiber. And I am pretty sure it was more than the stock console from a cost perspective.

Just cut holes in it for CB and other junk nounted vertically. I won't chop anything cuz it's against my Roverligion, but it would be pretty cool chopped.
