working on the front cover and all the brackets for the alternator and ps pump and i have a bracket not sure on where it goes? below is a pic of the area i am working on and the other pic is the bracket, i am holding it in the place i think it might go. any help anyone? :confused

Its kinda hard to tell with out the alt and pump in there but that looks about right. The end your holding should go to a bolt just below the valve cover. I can take a pic if you want.

thanks for the reply mike!!! i don t think i need a pic inless you love taking and posting pic. i figured the end i was holding went to that bolt below the valve cover and the other end went between the alternator and the alt. bracket? just wanted to make sure before i tighten everything back. i have not seen a complete engine in about a year and my memory isnt gettig any better

You described it exactly as mine looks! BTW I do like taking and posting pics:grin for the first few months on the BB no one saw my hole 90, just one small part at a time until I was told to get some pics for a Bio.:)
