Hello All,
I have a 97' and have noticed that the brake pedal wobbles a little bit side to side, I looked under the hood in the black brake box and see the pedal has a bolt and cotter pin, there seems to be some play but is this normal?? Is there anyway to tighten it a little?? Any help / feedback is appreciated..

When I first noticed it, visions of the pedal falling off while driving motivated me to look further. I could never find anything loose. At least there is a hand brake.

there are brass bushing in them.. you can install new ones but have to remove the pedal box to do it.

Randy (& board),
You think it is worth it or more importantly, could anything get damaged bot a little play in the pedal?

Thanks,

Been driving for the last 15k with it like this and I've been in a few panic braking situations with no problems.
