Agave Green over tan. Stick, cali car, no rust to speak of (Bavs rust badly so this is rare) miles unknown, but runs well. Was tapped in the front but replaced the fender and looks good from 10 feet but would need bondo and correct paint on the new fender to be perfect.
New heater blower motor ($300), interior good for the age. Comes with a set of webers to put on to replace the zeniths which are a bit finicky to start up after sitting. Has electronic ignition.
Too many cars and I never drive this one. Just want what I am into it for not including the labor to fix it up.

'72 has the nice little chrome bumpers right? You got triple sidedraft 45s for her?
evilfij
September 3rd, 2009, 10:21 PM
Yes, chrome bumpers.
I have the dual two barrels. I have heard the triple 45s are much more troublesome. If you really want triple webers, I know a place that sells used take off sets (taken off for 535i efi) for $800.
So Cabell, when you coming to pick her up. ;)
PS comes with a set of bottle cap 14in wheels in addition to the stock steelies with hub cabs.

Troublesome but FUN! I always liked the bavs, but I'm in your "too many cars" camp right now. Missed you at the summer rally; couldn't find any speed demons to travel with?

I skipped the summer rally to meet DB to get my hardtop.

You should post this over at: www.bmw2002faq.com in their classified section. Great forum.

Thanks, but I am not that motivated.
I am waiting for someone to miraculously appear and buy it.

Funny enough, the radio is the main reason I bought the car. It is in my porsche at the moment. What is it worth to you? Everything is for sale ....

Hey Keith,
What are you guys doing with a lowly Bavaria? Very cool car, just not a money maker, I would think.

Why are these worth so little? They look cool. I could see making it my daily driver.

Blau, mono AM. I don't really want to sell it, but it you must have it, make me a copley priced offer.
Personally, I would just buy one off ebay if I were you.

Most are really cheap because they are rusted out/worn out. Restored or very nice original ones fetch real money, but it has been only somewhat recently that they have been worthy enough for a restoration and the 2 doors fetch 2x as much or more for the same cost of restoration.

hi ken,
no my brother.... its mine! =) not copley. i figure i will drive it for a month, 2 or 6 days and then devise a plan to sell it. it was cheap enough that i can have some fun and drive about daily, plus it has a 5-speed which makes life much easier.
thanks for the note ron, i will keep an eye on ebay.
coco mats will be ordered once i have it detailed this weekend or next week. oh yeah baby!!!

5 speed conversion. Spendy. Mine only has the 4 speed. Autos are JUNK in these things.
since it is not copley level concours, just buy any old blau off ebay for <100. I would go more modern. Up to the 1990s they made vintage looking ones.

thanks ken. while in college i had a e36 that i spent probably $25,000 on making improvements (in miy mind at the time). i was young, stupid and did not know better.
so i have always loved bmw's. the wife has had 5-series after 5-series and now is in an x5 that she loves.
