Anyone out there with any opinions on the two. I need/want to add a winch soon and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two. The Superwinch seems to good to be true. Compatible with synthetic lines and at least $200 cheaper than the Warn.

I just don't want to go cheap and then regret it later.

Also, if I have the SafariGard bumper will it fit the XD9000i or the EP9000i. In other words can I fit a winch with an integrated solenoid.

Thanks,

Joe

Yes, it will fit the XD9000i but depending on which SG winch model bumper you have, you may have to trim about 1/4 - 1/2" off a tab on the passanger side inside the mounting box for the Warn. In my case, I bought a used SG bumper that was originally for a Husky, but I had a Warn 8000 and it dropped right in there. When I replaced that with a Warn XD9000i I had to grind about a 1/4" at one of the supports so a bolt on the Warn casing would not be rubbing and to properly line up the mounting holes.

Are you going to use a synthetic line? Do you want to pay the $s for the Warn rope?
I'm thinking my next winch will be Superwinch.
