I've decided to sell my under hood Premier Power welder...it comes complete with the 160 amp saddle mount alternator, welder control box, new style heavy duty voltage regulator, throttle adjuster, and owners manual (everything but the leads themselves as i used the leads from my home stick welder) This works perfect and is very easy to weld with (especially if you are just learning to weld). It also has a 110 volt plug to run power tools (grinders, drills, etc.) Asking $750.00 plus shipping.... I can send pictures tonight if anyone wants to see it....

Kelly, it's honestly more than I'd want to spend, but would love to see pictures of it as I am very curious about the setup. For example, what's a saddle mount alternator? Is is an additional one, or does it replace your existing. If you have any problems posting pictures here, let me know.

I have no idea how to post pictures here but i know someone who does (Dendy oh, Dendy)....I can email them tonight.... send me an email Best4x4@comcast.net .....It replaces the alternator (and i have both serp and v pulleys)....It is a sweet system and was installed on my 1995 D90 then my 1995 Classic......It gives your truck a cool sound (whistles like a supercharger).....

Very cool. Was this a direct fit or did you need custom bracketry?

It came with a adapter bracket to fit the D90....and i had to fab a bracket on the classic. They are the best welder on the market IMO. I used it plenty...more on the construction equipment here than on the trail (but either way handy)....They are pricey but worth it for a dependable voltage adjustable welder (high the rpm hotter the weld).....
