Fridge install in 110 2nd row between seats

I'm going to be doing this when I get back. Have a new ARB, and just bought two ROW style individual middle row seats from a UK breaker. I have the 60/40 now. My plan is to replace the hinge bolts for the 60/40 leg mounts with quick release pins, so that I can take out the 60 split bench when I want, and replace with a single fold up seat. Then I'll have two individual seats in the middle row with space for the fridge in between for trips. Nice thing is being able to go between full 60/40 bench people mover and long family trip hauler.

I've been searching all over google, and can't find any pics of 110's that either have the ROW 3 seats with middle removed and fridge in place, or two 40 split seats with fridge. Does anyone have any?

In searching, Tony Brooks' 110 had it, but it's moved on.

I just ordered some packs of stainless clevis pins for the seat supports. Let me know if you want some.

I actually never permanently installed it -- very easy proposition, though. The only issue for me would have been fabricating legs for the inner support on each seat -- they're supported by the center seat framework which really needs to be removed. Once you mock it up it'll make sense.

I actually ordered an extra right side proper vertical floor bracket for the leg (part circled in attached pic), so that when I pull the 60 bench out, the individual seat replacing it can have one leg mounted to the original bracket point, and the other leg on it's own installed bracket (as it won't reach the dual bracket for the 60 as you know).

Unless you are talking about some other support?

so you are talking about the flip down support? Here's the back of those seats. How does the middle support the outer seats then? I'm not visualizing it.

The "U" shaped piece under the center seat is integral to the center seat frame. However, at least on mine, the outer seats sit on the U. Removing the center seat frame necessitates coming up with another support for each side seat as the "U" would be gone.

Sorry I"m not explaining this better, though again it will make sense when you see it.

well those are the seats I bought from the UK breaker, and I only bought two of them. I initially only plan to use one of them along with the 40 I have which has it's own U brace underneath. I think I know what you are talking about. Sounds like a perfect place to put a semi-permanent tool box underneath that seat as a base support.

My Fridge is mounted between the seats.

It was simple enough. I made a shelf that I attached to the body, I bult a support out at the far end so it could rest on the floor at footwell level behind the cubby box. i left enough room for some straps to hold it down with turn buckles and nylon strap. Under this I plan to put a box for my inverter.

For the outer seats I needed to make a riser for each to replace where they seat's rested on the middle seat..

Simple.. If I get a sec I'll try and post pics in the next day or so.

Thanks Keith, that would help. What I don't have is the outer seat outer brackets. I'll have to call the breaker and see if he'll throw them in the box too before they ship. Will those bracket outer mounting points be blocked by the locking assembly for the 60/40?

Check out part number 92390A234 at McMaster.com - they're flat-headed clevis pins, not the round-headed pins that are standard. You just use a cotter pin to hold them in. I took mine apart to powder coat all the components so I had to replace the pins with something. I figured the advantage in being able to detach the seat supports would outweigh the loss of originality - and of course, originality is not really an issue with my truck anyway.

If you like these pins I'll be happy to send them to you. They're only a few dollars, postage will be more, but I do have some cotter pins I can throw in as well.

That's pretty much how I mounted mine, although I mounted mine well forward of that for two reasons. First being able to reach a drink from the front seat is nice, and my drawer allowed me to flat surface the rear "bed" leaving a great place for the doggies to hang out..

BTW, the fridge part is easy, I'm interested in how Matt setup two individual seats. Is that two 40's from a 60/40 split with a chopped 60 or a modified extra 40? Or something else?
