Don't forget that is a European trailer socket. Quite different than what is used in North America.

You can buy adapter for the circle to go to what ever connector you want, they hae them at Wal-Mart and the Auto parts stores.

Ah I spent $12 for one at Wal-mart. Bought some bullet connectors (94) and wired it right up. I have never seen a european to US adaptor anywhere except through land rover $$$. The US 7 pin is different.
The one I had on my disco I got from U-haul $18 and I actually liked the design a bit better (box seperate from connector and compatible with bullets on the other end too)

My Hella kit came with the to-US adapter with it.
