Bolt & nut size?

Do any of you rebuilders know the size type & grade of bolt (inc. nylok nut) that attaches the bulkhead (firewall) to the chassis outrigger?

brett- they are grade 10.9 size 12mm x 170 mm regular course thread, it didnt have a lock nut on it just washer and lock washer set up.i could probably tell you the size of every bolt on the defender,i have become a bolt expert after starting my project.

Hey Matt - Do you know offhand the grade/size of the panhard rod bolt (steering box side) and radius arm bolts (axle end)? Thanks.

Do you happen to know what size/grade the 4 bolts that hold the sway bar to the gas tank skid plate are?

dave hows it going? thats the least i could do for you -i owe you big!!! i dont have those bolts any more but they would be a grade 8.8 and 8mm- length i am not sure but my guess is 20mm would be about the right size

Mine has got a Nylok, not lockwashers. I must say I prefer Nyloks.
