The Kenwood units use Garmin navigation which Most consider the best. They make single DIN units that would work. Research the model you want on kenwood's webite then check eBay and some online retailers for the cheapest price.

I went through two kenwood units in two years, my new 110 is getting an autoPC with Centrafuse and GarminPC hacked into it (people have done this seamlessly), working in tech and seeing how bad most car units are and how poor their UI is I just do not see any
better option or cheaper one with futureproofness.

Making a double din mount for a daylight transflective touchscreen is not difficult as they are shallow.

JVC makes a pretty decent ones, I had JVC KD-NX5000 , but I believe they are up to 6500 now
