Africa Trip

I know all you D90 guys are nuts, and I am one of the clan for sure.
I am not sure you are aware but there are some really awesome trips you can take around Southern Africa in rented D90's or D110's.
They are true expedition vehicles, and built with all the stuff needed for a hard trip, like extra water tanks, long rang fuel, roof tents, Engel fridges etc etc..
They are very reasonable with the $$ exchange and you will have the best time ever!!
Not to mention you don't need a hotel room with the roof tents. The vehicles also come equiped with simple showers.

A swiss friend took the trip and he is going back every year now to do it again.

That something I would like to do. I'd rather be behind the wheel, than paying someone else to drive while on an African safari-like trip. Having a guide in a leader vehicle might be helpful when getting into into the backcountry.
