What would be the normal running engine temperature for a 94?

Thanks,

Mark,
My gauge seems to always be 1/2- 3/4 of the way.

Thanks...my stock one was the same, now I have a VDO with degree F markings, and was wondering what the actual number was.

'94 3.9 with 78k on the clock. Stock guage is in the middle after it warms up and generally stays right there. A mechanic read the temp with one of those fancy gizmos at the radiator. ~170' at the hot end and a lot cooler at the other end, if I recall correctly. So I figure 160-180'F for mine.

Depending on the T-stat thats in there it should be either 180F or 160F, They only use the 160F if the engine has overheating problems or it's used in very hot climates.
