I'm thinking about installing a GM (LT6) V8 in my 94 D90 for a bit more power. I know the GM swap has been done before, but I'm having a hard time tracking down any relevant info. Anyone know anything about the issues I am likely to encounter or know if anyone makes an adapter plate/mounts for this purpose?

You need to call the boys at BCB offroad in Cali. They do the Chev v8 swaps for a living. They are the only ones that I know of and for 10g's it is not that bad. Good luck.

Thanks for the lead on BCB Offroad. I'll give them a call next week. Depending on how difficult the swap will be, I may be interested in having them do it rather than trying it myself.
