I re-upholstered my seats primarily to add heating elements. However the covers I took off and the foam that was beneath them, appears to be in better shape than I had expected. The back of the driver's seat cover has a hole where the crossmember rubbed against the seat, and one of the seat cushion covers has some cracks on one side that are easily hidden by the center console. The head rests are near perfect. All in all they are in decent shape. I'd say solid 7/10 condition given that they are 16 years old. I can e-mail pictures to those interested.
$200/obo + shipping.
Thanks,
Alex

I have been looking into putting heaters in my seats. Could you tell me which ones you used and if there were any problems or anything you would do differently

Not to hi-jack Alex's thread - but David I got my seat heaters from I think the place is called Cobra seat heaters. They are easy to install especially on the front seat of a 90. You can pm me with your phone number or request mine and I can answer your questions if you like regarding installation. I believe they pull less than 3 amps so I spliced into an only "key on" power source. They have a high and low setting.

I got them from Rovers North and they were super easy to install. I used an auxillary slot in the fuse box to activate the relay which I rivetted under the drivers seat. I pulled power for the seats directly from the battery. The seats work great, but the wires were sort of cheap.
By the way, the seat bottoms are the whole deal, not just the covers and foam.

Damn you.
These would have allowed me to make ron good ST seats out of anything I could find so I can sell the bling seats.

I still have a set of decent top and bottom covers and foam for one seat in black denim vinyl if you need 'em. I was asking $40 shipped, but would take less at this point.
