O.K. here goes. :) Project mayham - I have inherited a car-b-qued 94 NAS 90 (Special Construction Title) which will end up with the following:
4.6L resleeved rebuild motor
Auto tranny out of a 4.2 classic
Powder coated silver frame (with zinc undercoat and clear top coat)
Powder coated bulk head, inside underside tub, seatbox, floor plates and other misc parts.
As you guys have seen from my want ads - the hardest things to get a hold of are interior and roll cage bits.
O....I included pic of yours truly - note to self sanblasting sucks!
I have included a few pics of the progress through last month and will put some more. I would like to thank board members whole I have purchased items from in the past 6 months to make this one possible.
I do wonder....what constitutes a "Ground Up Restoration"? comments appreciated

Nice, I can't wait to see how this develops. I want to inherit a 90...
Also, looks like you've been taking workout tips from Neil!

Sweet! How come you didn't galvanize the frame?

CDeWan, did you find a roll cage? I have a complete soft top roll cage (no padding), if you are interested.

Hey guys....thanks for the feedback. The place that I go to for powder coating I don't think has the tank for galving the frame but they did do a rust inhibiting coat. Anyone try to coat the inside of a frame and with what? Yep that is an FJ in the back, at Premier Rover where they are letting me do the resto (thanks to Will and Dave) one of there customers has a FJ and a classic. The classic is getting a 3inch lift and all the rovertyme fixins and I think the FJ will be sold. Neil has a late night info-mercial so I have been staying up doing the "Body of Steel by Neil" workout out video and purchased the Neil-e-0 universal machine for three easy installments of $995 - and I understand they are selling like hot cakes so don't let Neil claim poverty :).
As far as things not rusting out here -yes we do have it made. Even growing up in Florida my knuckles would be ripped up from rusted bolts. Trouble is we all can look at a bolt before losening it and tell if it is going to take out a chunk of skin so why do we continue to do it...ARGH!
As far as roll cage bits I think I am down needing the B pillar diagonals, a descent B pillar and a C pillar and C pillar tub mounts. Though what do you mean by no padding, is that the factory rubber padding is gone or....?
O I forgot to mention - I am putting one of the LRX silver grills on it and am powdercoating the front A bar Silver to kinda resemble a SVX.
On Friday night I say a SVX 60th anniversary 110 which the owner drove up from most likely Tijuana. I took pictures but it was night time and I was drolling over the damn thing.

updated pictures of project SVX sort of. During the build process I was unfortunate to find a job again after enjoying a year off of work and not have to do public accounting!!!! Some much for the quick turn around on the build. Anyway here are some updated shots:
Tub is on
seat box on
floors are on
bulkhead is on
fenders got put on today
dash if half the way there
picked up a set of hard top doors for it
4.6 mated to a automatic out of a 4.2 classic
Need to finish up the dash.

Keith,
Thank you. I will get some more pics up when I get the center tunnel on as the dash should be pretty much down. I have learned not to tighten body parts and roll cage bits as you kinda of need to be sure it fits altogether before putting the final gaps/alignments between panels.
