I just removed this motor and parts from my 90 to install a 200tdi, prior to removal it was a solid runner and would start with ease, the temperature gauge
never went above the midway mark even in summer. This motor came in my 90 that I purchased last year from the original owner at 87,000 document miles. The previous owner took impeccable care of the 90 and changed the oil approximately every 3,500 miles.
I listed this as a kit because it comes with a bunch of parts
Motor 1984 2.5 NA diesel with 87K miles (has starter and alternator)
Engine wire harness (worked good)
Radiator (no leaks that I am aware of)
Radiator plastic shroud (great shape)
Overflow tank (metal style good shape)
Fuel filter that mounts on bulkhead (and fuel pipes between filter and motor)
Air cleaner, mount and pipes
Exhaust down pipe
Exhaust center pipe
Motor mounts
Flywheel and clutch (used clutch would replace)
The motor ran good, started easy, at idle it did not smoke at all, under heavy pedal it would leave a trail of black smoke.
I do not know when the timing belt was changed and would recommend changing it.
Not really sure what to ask for everything so please make an offer
