Post pictures of your truck in this thread if you would like it added to the 'Not so random picture' widget on the sites main page.
Please don't go crazy by posting your entire Picasa album, just find your favorite shot and attach it in here. I'll get it added to the rotation.

Hi All,
As I have sold my D90, this will be my last post. the image attached is one that was taken at a barn, located about 20km due north of London. Too bad US legislation is prohibiting the import of D90s to the states....
Take care,

Found this pic of horseyboy. You can see his defender in the background if you look past his popped up collar.
That popped collar, girlfriend, and horsey lifestyle living in NY says his trust fund can buy and sell your ass Barry.
Therefore deductive logic says that ca$h is a non-issue when considering a D90 purchase for HorseyBoy. I bet it is just a matter of time until the next board of directors meeting for the trust fund to approve the purchase.

January 16th, 2010, 03:05 PM
Barry,
Thanks for the comp!
Sliders were custom built, extra heavy duty. A SCLR member in OC made them for me. Ron is his first name -- can't recall last. Haven't seen him in years. John Lee at EE will know him as he was going to go into production on them.
About a year or so later, I had them welded right to the frame -- the whole rig is tough as nails...

Ya know, for as much as I enjoy Rovers, I do miss the days of having a shop lot full of Ferraris....FYI- Treasured is the family business that I left about 4 years ago to start my own Land Rover shop...
Anybody see the Tomb Raider in the back of pic 1?

But I have started to spruce her up a little in preparation for selling her. Hope to get some more done this weekend but I dragged my ass on buying a drop arm and that's not going to be here in time :(.
You painted my gorgeous trident green doors red ? Looks good with the original doors back on front.

Nope, those are the old crappy ones just painted two tone with the galvy trim added :)
Got her cleaned up today, might get time to take some pictures tomorrow, but she'll surely be up for sale next week.

I was at Treasured last week ( before mother's day ) , and your Dad was there and as usual, he gave me the Tour, and the TR was park in the front, and the Yellow D90 was been worked on.
And indeed I did my usual droolling over the RR, the Astons and the Jag. although there was one BB that brought some memoirs :)

Wasn't the ancient 130. That was the Cairns Blue Td5 110 double cab that I had just spent 4 days trying to get to run. Once I figured out how to trick it into cooperating I drove it 6hrs down to Marc @ Aluminum Classics in Nc. Its his truck. Tdi's dont hold a candle to Td5's in the road manners category.

Thanks Doug. The rest of the trucks were EFI so they felt after I tested the waters it was better to take the chance on the snowmobile bridge (which was scary in itself).
We've dubbed southern VT the rainforest challenge now.

Battery's on the alarm/AS10 circuit board. Unplugged it and left it out of the truck until they died/released the lock they had on the immobilizer. Plugged it back in and started right up. I had Keith's Nanocom and couldn't clear the codes the way its supposed to work. A bit overwhelming @ first but after 4 days I figured it out.

Note - Should you find yourself in soft sand and you just made a hard turn right and hitting the brakes while looking for your fellow AA Yellow owner, and should you equilibrium start to feel as if the truck is beginning to roll COUNTER FU(*ING STEER AND HIT THE GAS. I figure this will only add to my rigs value since it has already passed the 300K mile mark. Anywho damage was not too bad and had most of it fixed. So I think that she is no considered "no garage queen"!
