Guys, whenever I start the engine, my battery light comes on (with my oil light on sometimes). I have to start the engine by pumping the gas pedal, to eventually get it started. Once I get it started, it sometimes stalls out when I back out of the driveway, and I have to restart. Also, sometimes at idle soon after starting the engine, it will cutoff/stall and I'll have to restart at the stoplight. Any suggestions on what's going on? Also, is there a way to get my truck started by just turning the key with no gas pedal pump. It sounds horrible on start up and it's a pain in the ass to restart at stoplights. Thanks guys!

You have an EFI problem. Steeper motor maybe. You basically need to go through a step by step fault check. Otherwise you are wasting time.

Shoot it and put it out of its misery then. Those bloody things are the spawn of the devil. I have a friend with one and years of trying to tune it and it still is a crap shoot getting it to start.

Check the idle mixture and turn up the idle speed.

I thought we were not going to help Ryan until he posts pictures of his truck.

Have you tried going off road yet?

The one on my friend's won't run past a 15 degree angle.

Yes no help till he posts pictures!

Do you still have your choke? I have to make judicious use of it to start my 110 (original ?solex? carbs)
