About 3-4 weeks ago on I75 just outside Knoxville, TN I saw a Semi with a flatbed of sharp Rovers. Two Discos, and two 90s all four loaded with spares, jerry cans, picks and shovels etc, and roofracks full of equipment. Quite a site to see. They were obviously not heading to a dealership etc with all that stuff straped to them. Anyone know anything about them? I tried to cross the median and chase them down but the wife's Beemer didn't quite have the ground clearance ;)

If it was a red 90, yellow 90, and champagne DII then it was Jim Cirbus and Co headed to Colorado/Moab for the week. If not, sounds like someone else was going on a cool trip as well.

As long as we're inquiring about rigs we've seen, who does this one belong to? I got this in an email and have never seen this rig before. I've got to know a bit more about it.

Doug Marbourg owns it. He is actually selling it as he is building a full on rock buggy. I've wheeled with him in NM and I can say that it is simply amazing.

Hehe that's not what I meant. I remember long time ago Doug mentioning it had a D70 rear with centered bumpkin, so I'm wondering how is the driveshaft is taking that angle.
