Anyone have a spare lug wrench for the alloy lugs, 27mm I believe?

I think I have one in the garage, but why? They are crap, I carry a 27mm socket and 18" breaker bar. If I find it you can have it for shipping.

Thanks for the advice. I still need one, so let me know what you find.

What you want is a genuine Land Rover heavy duty lug wrench. tntlr had them on sale for $10 or so, they sell for $20 or so from RN. The stock one barely works on a properly torqued lugnut (I have twisted two to the point of being worthless) let alone one that is rusted or overtightened.

Actually, I am looking for a cheapo stock one for the socket head. I plan on welding a breaker bar to it.

I use a 1 1/8" socket.. Works perfect. $7.99 at auto part store.

better check...
I use 1 1/16"
1 1/8" will round off the corners of the lug-nut

1 1/16th does not like to go over the capped lug nuts. I use 1 1/8th 6 point on the alloy lugnuts with caps and 1 1/16th on everything else (uncapped alloy lugnuts and steel wheel lugnuts)

Uh no, that won't work, way too big. That' strips the corners on my lugs.
What's with all the advice giving on a wanted thread? I just want a stock lug wrench. If you have one please let me know.

I will look as soon as the snow allows me to open the little garage, but I believe I have 2 sets of the nifty bag with the wrench and the tire chokes

Yes, I am sorry for the delay on picking it up.
I just dug out myself and now another 20" ( do not know where the hell I am going to put that snow ).
I will clear a path when the next storm, look for the wrench and I'll give you a ring later on the week.

I bought one these Melco ones. They are a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

I'd be interested in the nifty bag with wrench, too. (Don't need the chocks).

That is the nicer DII/p38a wrench. The factory D90 ones are black. They both fit the same size lugnuts.

The factory ones I have are very soft... I have bent one of my factory ones just by using it, I can't imagine what you would do to it once you weld an extension on it.

The black ones with the skinny handle are pretty weak, the yellow zinc plated ones are beefier. I carry a 4 way from Advance Auto, its like $12
