I'm in no hurry but I'm just starting to look for a 90/110 donor for a project. I don't care if its NAS or an import. I prefer LHD but would also look at RHD.

Here's the options I'm considering:

1. NAS 90
2. 90 import.
3. 110 import, prefer 4 door wagon but will look at others.

Salvage title might be acceptable but I don't want a crashed truck. Prefer something with rough cosmetics and/or bad engine. Cheap is the key here because it will be a donor. It must have a good frame and bulkhead. I don't need a rust bucket.

I'm wanting to have a 110 Wagon or maybe a double cab built although would consider a 90 also depending on what you have.

Got something different? Send me info and I'll consider it.

Thanks.
Mika

wow! those guys are the experts at understatement. I hate to think how they'd describe a truck that rolled over the cliff, down the embankment, and exploded on impact! "Just a flesh wound."

I might consider selling what I have:

Designa gavly 110 frame.

Redone SIIa bulkhead

Salisbury rear

Suffix A front axle

64 dormobile body for a donor with new T-pieces

Ron, how much for the IIa bulkhead? What year is it for?

I would consider selling my 97 LE SW. It has about 180,000 on the original drivetrain, still running strong. It does leak about a quart of oil every 3000 miles from the engine though. Has AT, cold AC, roof rack, $G bumper and Warn M8000 winch. New doors in Jan of 2004 under LR corrosion warranty. I would take $17,500 FIRM, which I think is a steal, considering what wrecked/junk POS's are bringing. My other 90 will be done soon, and I will no longer need this one, so I have halfway decided to sale. It does need front pads/rotors, and pads on back, which I will have done. Email me if you may be interested.

I was looking to sell as a package. since I sold something else I am no longer needing to sell. If you really want a redone series bulkhead you can give me an email and I can see what I can do for you. (I have a spare or two I could redo for you). Figure $750 or so for primer. Less if you give me a core.

You really want pre 65 bulkheads preferably the 58/59 is ideal.

Have you found what you're after? They're are more than a few ex-army 110's kicking around my area and I heard 6 more just got auctioned off.

Chris,

I'm partially interested in your 90, but am really going for a 110. If I can't find what I want then I would be interested. What is the rust factor on your truck?

Mike,

I'm in Vancouver right now (until tomorrow PM) and will be looking at a civvy 110 SW. I'd prefer to get LHD, 110 SW because that is pretty much what I'm going to build so it would have most of the parts I need. I'd consider a double cab but not a 3 door as I just sold my 3 door. I can't be building what I just got rid of...

Is there a good place to find 110s locally or are they not really advertised?

There is a very little rust in the footwells of the bulkhead, inside the strengthening ribs. Nothing a little HCL and paint won't take care of. There may be a few bubbles under the cappings, but the cappings are in good shape. Door hinge pins are bleeding rust. Doors are new. Light surface rust on rear crossmember. That's it as far as I know.

Most of the defenders locally are sold through www.lrx.com but some show up at roverlanders.bc.ca as well. A project 5dr was for sale in Alberta rescently but I'd have to get the info off my home computer for you. National 4x4 seems to have a few various trucks, he can be contacted through roverlanders, I think he goes by the name maxpower.
