So, time to end my lurking around the forum and put up a post -- in desperation, however:confused

One morning I fired up the D and found I couldn't get in in gear.
I could start it in gear, but my friction point was about 1/4" off the floor!

Ok, I thought, slave cylinder first - Nope.
Ok, must be MC - Nope, still the same...arg!

I've now bled the bejesus out of it; the pedal feels more firm than ever.
I put a brick on the pedal last night to see if the pressure bleeds off - no.

Pumping the pedal doesn't help at all - its exactly the same as before I started.

So... I'm thinking flex line????
I know it's recommended to change all - Slave, MC, and Flex,
but the hose looks ok... no leaks, no obvious blisters when the pedal is depressed.
Can these fail without showing any issues externally?

I'm concrened that it might be something internal - collapsed throw out bearing or something?
Weird that it would happen overnight...

Any thoughts? Should I just keep bleeding?

Any leaking any where that you can see. Maybe clutch fork going bad? See this towards the bottom:

Someone with more experience will chime in I'm sure.

Hmm, that does seem possible I guess.... :(
No creaking as he described, but I suppose if the ball hasn't quite punched through the fork, just partway....

What a royal PITA!

Well, that's good news I guess...

Getting at that release lever is not my idea of good times.
I'll keep my fingers crossed and wait for that flex line from RN.

Yes, the flex line can be deteriorated internally without showing any external issues.
