I know this has been discussed before. I was wondering what you guys think of the manuals on CD ,avaliable on ebay. I just dont want to waste the money if they suck. :(

If I rember rigth, someone said they were for UK models, allthough I could be wrong. I'll PM you.:)

I bought one, 1.99 and its a CD with the overhaul manuals and original owners manuals. I think its called RAVE or something similar.
I think it was a great deal and have used it quite a bit already.

Is it for a NAS 90? Does it cover the V8? How about the ECM? Just wondering.:)

Yea it is definately the NAS 90, also has the discos, Range Rovers, Freelander.
It has 2nd addition of the workshop manual, Overhaul Manuals for Engine Gearboxes and Transfer boxes, Electrical Library for the NAS, Circuit Diagrams, NAS owners manual and labor operation times. The last section has been extremly usefull for determining how much beer I need for each selected repair.

Other than the CD-Rom version, can someone recommend a repair manual that they have found helpful and /or accurate (Chiltons, Haynes, etc.)?

I bought one too, it is NAS and has everything. I think it is for the 4.0 only though? I got mine for $3 I think. Good deal!

Jeremy, I have the Land Rover Manual from LR, I bought it at Rovers North for $50. Covers 93 to 95 NAS Defenders (110, 90 ST and 90 SW). Pretty good, a little vague at times though.

I got one if these on eBay as well (surely illegal, based on the price). It was for the UK version (e.g., only had two oxygen sensors, had info on TDi engine, etc.).
