Im going to keep it. How did you get it to work with receiver hitch? Thats the only reason i wanted to sell it. I love the look of the front bumper and skid but Im concerned that they dont provide enough protection for the wings and headlights. Ive crashed thru some serious branches with my ARB and that would of taken out a headlight for sure.

John- if you change your mind I'll take it.

John,

Two options, you either trim the plate or space the Hitch.

the only pita is to weld the tabs to the frame .

did you have to drop the tank to space the hitch?

John, are you going to happy hour this week? I have the equipe front plate, but not mounted yet. If I can make it to happy hour, I can bring it to see how it could work with your ARB. Im curious too....debating whether to go ARB or the tubular style for a new bumper.

Yes Im going to happy hour but also to the club meeting on Saturday which might be more convenient to seeing how it will work. Ive got a feeling if you had an equipe style bumper on your truck your front fender would look alot worse than it does which is one of the reasons Im inclined to keep the ARB or go Safarigard etc.

I originally had the Equipe plate with the ARB bumper, I know Trevor ( Roverlab send me the pic when he installed it ) while I was waiting for my Equipe Bumper and Sliders to arrive.

It fits with some trickery where the ARB goes on the Frame horn. and I honestly tell you , not that great looking, ig you are set on ARB bumper, the Mantec or Southdown are the best compliment IMO

As for the Tubulaer bumper not protecting the wing, well if you drop on top of something yeap, but wings are cheap *LOL*

As for the headlights , look at "Shrek is getting tanned " you'll see the Equipe Headlight protector ( they do not fit with the fat turn signals.

If you are going to go with the ARB, buy the AB 10mm skid plate, it works perfectly and looks nice too. If you are going to use the truck off road, the ARB hangs very low, and a Safari Gard brush bar provides the same protection with a great approach angle and a built in skid plate.
