Thats right, you can have it if you want it. Heres what I know about it. It's used, a little dirty, but what I was told was, it was known to be good and was taken from a running P38A. It's completely dissasembled so thats the good part, I saw the bearings and I didn't see any brass in them. You get the block, crank, pistons with rods, bearing caps, rocker shafts and rockers and whatever else I can find that came with it. Just take it home. I looked in all the sleeves and they all retain the original criss cross hatch pattern with no ridge on top. I'm located in South Pasadena but I can bring it somewhere close, unless you wanna come get it. I'm keeping the heads in case you were gonna ask. Neil

Meh I doubt it, I already have 2 new blocks all crated up in my living room. I'm sure by the time I use them both up I'll be dead  Plus they are still casting new blocks and I'm pretty sure they always will.

A bastages, I still have this block in my house. Does anyone want it? You can put it together and use it for your 97 d90 or whatever. Its still good, you can still see the criss cross hatch pattern on the cylinder walls and theres no ridge on top either.

I would love to go to LA, but I need another motor like I need a hole in my head.

make a glass topped coffee table out of it ? Those are pretty cool in a gear head sort of way. I have a 4.0 block with a scored cyl in my scrap pile and have toyed with the idea.

I would hoard this thing at my place if I had a place for it. Will you store it at your place for me?

If I lived out there I'd take it. I need a donor block for a motor build.

You said you kept the heads, you holding onto the rocker covers?

Intake parts and such I would like to keep due to fact that I might need them later for my 97 D90. What comes with the free block is the bearing caps, crank, pistons, rods, and the camshaft if you want it. I took the crank out to study the motor for informational purposes. I would consider selling them, cheap if your interested.

Have you had sex with it?

Also you have two engines in your living room? Any reason you didn't put them in the garage? You should put them in stands and run them while watching the people's court or whatever you Asians do at night.

Actually I did have sex with it. I secretly took a pic and printed out a picture of your face and stuck it over the timing cover so it looks your looking back at me while I'm busting out your rear end through the camshaft hole. At least the new owner won't need camshaft assembly lube. :)

Actually I have 3 engine blocks in my living room. I moved the 4.0 outside underneath a tent. The 4.4 Jag motor is in my house on a rack, that sucker was heavy as hell, way heavier than the other blocks.

I have a storage unit I can put it in but I'm about to embark on a full remodel of it to turn it into a studio apartment. Besides at least I can look at it when I feel like looking at rover porn.
