View Full Version : 94 Dash Parts

I have completely removed the stock dash from my 94 w/AC and replaced it with an all metal custom dash I made. I have no use for 90% of the stock parts I took out so if you are looking for some hard to find part please let me know I can take some pictures of it. These parts are just taking up space in my garage so I'd like to get rid of them without trashing them.

Hmmm, if the gauge panel is pretty thrashed (for either of you guys), I need a cheap one to hack up for a project idea.

I need the guage cluster face that houses all the guages. (cluster bezel if you will) if you got it, is it in good condition? I'll take it if it still is. Thanks

Damn, I didn't realize complete dashes were that popular. I'm at work now so later tonight I will get some pictures of the parts.

-A/C unit is not for sale but the vent duct is.
-The upper and lower covers for the steer column got hacked up in the process of building the new dash. So those are probably not worth anything.
-I re-used the gauges so they are not for sale either.

If there is some serious interest I might consider making a few more copies of the all metal dash I made for my truck. I'd have to make a few revisions from the current design, but the overall look would be the same. All the pieces are laser cut so gauges and switches easily mount and I can change up the cut outs for aftermarket gauges and different radios. I could even do an entire stainless steel verison if you want some bling. I attached some pics below.

Hmmmm... Intriguing.

What did you do for the heater controls?

I'd like the vent duct if it is still available. PM sent.

I'm going to give preference to people that want the complete set-up and by the order they posted. I will have some pics and prices later tonight. I forget which parts are in better condition than others.

The heater controls are part of the revisions I was talking about. I live in Florida so the heater was not as big of a concern when I was rushing to get it done. As of now the heater blower speed control lever is still used just not mounted but the temp control levels are not used so I just made a bracket to keep the blower on “heat”. I would like to switch all those controls over to a push-pull cable setup; I just haven’t found the right cables.

Question #2 on that fancy metal dash.

What's that big thing mounted in the top-center?

I think you are looking at my radio/cd player. It’s a Sony marine unit capable of direct water spray. It sticks out a little far but I never worry when it rains.

The dash is in pretty good shape, I just didn't like it being plastic. The first owner had the truck for 8 years and never took the fiberglass top off or took the windows out. Since then I've only had the top completely off a hand full of times. Asking $400 OBO+shipping

Known Issues:
-The gauge cluster is probably the worst part on the dash. It’s missing one of the lenses for the defrost and the corner is cracked as you can see in the pic.
-The A/C duct has a crack only on the top (it can not be seen when installed) and the metal support bar on the inside is keeps it pretty rigid.
-The metal pan on the lower dash is a little rusty
-The cover for the A/C control has a cut out for a hidden kill switch. Obviously it can’t be seen when normally seated

That would be great. I need to basically hack one up to make a blank panel, then make a fiberglass mold of it.

Come on, I need the grey part.

Yep CDWan. He beat Dave's PM by 7 mins.

I was pretty surprised at how many people need dash parts. But I guess the plastic doesn't last long on trucks without tops.

I can have that grey part made form AL at resonable price if there is enough people interested.

Story of my life, 7 mins too slow :)

FWIW Tyler Wirken has a LHD dash for sale. Most of it is still connected to a LHD bulkhead but some of the small parts have been removed and are in boxes (grab handle, wiper motor cover, guage cluster)

Hi Matt,

Still got the steel dash subframe (long flatish bit with holes in it), would have that for my RHD/LHD conversion to keep the truck running.... and am also interested in a full dash also. Would save alot of parts sourcing :)

Not got a LHD heater box btw ?

Andy
