what's up guys!

I was screwing around on interco's site and was wondering if you guys had experience with boggers and their tread life(not radials, right?). My D90 is going to off-road only, but the main place I where I wheel is about 70 miles away from my house. Also I'd like to be able to have these tires last(good traction) for at least a few years. I know everyone here is pretty much MT/R crazy, but I wheel mostly mud/trails(not many rocks) and swampers are about as good as it gets for that. Your input would be really appreciated.

THANKS!

I would actually go Interco one of these days but I have other things too buy right now (allot of mud up here also). When I searched around I found that you can get from 10 to 30 K out of a set depending on how you drive and how heavy your rig is although I heard 7.5k from one and 40k from another. I think you would get in the 20 to 25k range with a set of Boggers. What size? What do you have for tires right now?

Mike,

I was thinking about the 35x10.50R16(34.8 in.). I've got the AR 16x8 steelies, and I really don't want to go to 15's right now. I keep my rig in my garage and I've got less than 2 inches of clearance left. I'm running the 285/75 SSR right now and they're right at 33.9 in, so i don't have too many options(and i'm not going smaller). There's also a 35x10.5 SSR, but it's at 35.3 inches, and I don't think it'll clear. I would like to try the boggers though.

You should keep with the SSR's. I nor anyone else I know have ever gotten more than 12k-15k miles out of a set. No doubt they are bad-ass offroad, but those things wear awful, they will make the truck rock you to sleep when the tread wears bad.

yeah don't mess with boggers or thornbirds if you want to get life out of them...I know a guy who has every kind of swamper you can get on his jeep and the only one he got more than 7K miles was the TSL and SSR's......Just my $0.02
