Hello all. I am sending out a feeler to see if anyone is interested in having the attached winch bumper reproduced. The cost will be approximately $395 apiece plus shipping and will be made off 1/4 inch steel. They will come without a finish so it will be up to the purchaser to spray bomb or powder coat them. Not sure if this is much of a deal or not but the bumper has that nice look to it. Please let me know if you are interested.

Ron,
Like my email stated this is a feeler posting. So if no one is interested that's fine.

I was not bashing on you, sorry if it came out that way, I think it would be a good deal (I have the bumper you pictured and like it very much), I just wanted to point out the competition so as you would consider it.

I doubt the mantec is 1/4" thick - that's beefy!
I'm honestly not in the market, but curious as to what winch pattern it's setup for?

Ron,
Sorry on my part too if I came across snippy. I didn't do the research to see what else was out there in awhile so I was not up to speed on what the current offerings were. I haven't bolted this one onto the rig so I figured I would send out the email. I also checked with a fabricator who would do it out of high strength aluminum but it would cost $5,000 to get 10 prototype bumpers and then the bends in the metal would not be as nice.
Charles - they guy I purchased it from said it was drilled for a Warn.

I think I can get the price to $395 powder coated plus shipping. Anyone?

Clay,
I'd like to see if this bumper would fit my NAS 110 with the A/C bump-out in the front. I plan on using an Warn 8274 winch and weld on some mounts for a set of fog lights. Dimensions would be great that way I can take some measurements.
Thanks

I think, but I could be wrong, that you just need some extensions for the A/C bump-out. At least that's what I thought I read in the RN catalog about the Mantec bumper. worth a shot looking into.

Brain,
That is my understanding too is that RN sells the extendor kit. I will post the demensions. I sent some to another person who inquired and then like a fool I cleared out my sent box aaaaaaaaaaaaa I want to pound my face with my little fists when I do stuff like that. It beats throwing a tool that usually ends up attracted to glass, I think tools and glass have a magnetic connection when tossed in anger. TMI

No, the PM system limits make it a very poor way to communicate for me too. :(

Bumper demensions:Don,
Ok here goes.
Bumper is 66 inches long
Blade part is 4.24 tall
Each blade is about 21 inches long.
Winch basket area is about 24 inches long.
Winch basket at it deepest point would stick out about 9.5 inches
Winch basket height is 6 inches tall.
I hope that gives you some idea.

Jay,
There was not enough interest in it, so I passed on trying to get them made. I was told that RN carries the mantec one for around $499 or something like that. I really needed to have about 5 people interested to make it worth the machine shops time.
