Hey all after my fun time under the D changing out the skid plate I noticed that the rear drive flange had some scuff marks on it. Guess I hit it last time out. So who's got a good pinion guard? I've looked at Rockwares and QT's. Downside to the QT is that it looks like its part of the diff guard. Already got Rovertym diff guards.
Thanks

I like, and have used on both my 1997 Disco and the 1997 D90, the rockware pinion guard. Easy install and it has saved my pinion more than once.

I made my own--wraps around the rear diff--I am pretty proud of the simple design...if you notice, I used plates of steel to bi-level the design so that scraping rocks wound not get held up on the bolts--total cost--$9 for bolt/steel.
