It took me four hours including time spent for documentation, pics and and test fitting.

We've been out for a test drive and I'm a happy camper.

I will post pics and detail some of the more "interesting" parts of the install tomorrow.. Today is my anniversary so My free time for this project is done.

7 hours, 14 beers, 1/2 a can of Cope. I suppose I could have done it a little quicker but everything was going smoothly, all the parts were there, and I just took my time and enjoyed the experience.

The old 110 runs like a completely different vehicle.

So now that there are some vets with hands on experience for this turbo, are there any adjustments that need to made on it periodically? Have yet to do anything on it, but if it can fall out of adjustment, then mine likely has. I'm new to turbo diesels so a sponge for maintenance and tuneup information.

So I ran a big test this weekend. We loaded the old beast up for camping in Wyoming. With trailer, dogs, kids adults, water food and gear for another family the rig weighed in at just over #6500.
The driving weather was fair, 85 to 90 degrees. The goal was to keep the EGT's below 1000 (post turbo measument) and the engine temp at or below 220 while maintaining the highest speed possible so as not to get killed on the interstate.
The truck was able to maintain 70 on most short but steep hills and the longer hills 65, on the flat 75 was normal even at 8500 feet above sea level.
Comparing this performance to previous trips which we carried the same amount of gear (Karen likes to really overpack!) the engine performed fantastically! The first fuel stop showed 17MPG (mostly all uphill)
We'll have another trip like this in a couple of weeks at which time I'll test the new "PENDY FLEX FAN" and provided I make it home with all my fingers I'll type up a review.

I will be like a Bi-Turbo setup running both the clutchless fan and TGV. lol

And you can put the coal to her since the heat will be licked off !
