I'm looking for a seatbox from a LHD Defender that had an LT77 transmission. The seat box can be any color, but must be in good to like new condition, no rust at all.

Also looking for a passenger side rear corner post for a NAS cage. This is the portion that is in the rearmost corner of the body that the rear portion of the external cage bolts through the tub to as well as the jumpseat mounting.

If you have what I am looking for please PM me.

Thanks!

Mike at ECR can get the SD parts for the cage...

The LT77 will fit under the same seatbox and tunnel as the r380, so pretty much any seatbox that was on a relatively modern defender will work for you. Unless you have something else in mind.

I have a seat box out of a 1983 or so ROW 110 that I need to get rid of.

Probably not in as good condition as you want but there is only minor surface rust.

Here are some photos. I really want to get this out of here so I am sure the price will be right whatever that will be?!

I recently bought a used seat box. It had some rust on the battery box, so I removed it sandblasted and had it LineXed. Those boxes are really heavy weight so don't be scared away by some rust.

I'm not afraid of surface rust, however, I'm trying to be as explicit as possible as to what I'm looking for. I do not want to deal with even the slightest hint of rot or repair, I already have enough of that to deal with.. For my personal trail truck I would not care, but this is for a frame off NAS110 restoration.

My NAS 110 had a standard r380 seatbox, and a bulkhead to match...

Need pix?

Couldn't hurt. I guess I was operating under the false assumption that if it had an LT77 transmission, it would have been LT77 throughout.

Thanks Jim

I thought the same thing. The only thing you have to watch is the shape of the opening in the bulkhead. If you are replacing the bulkhead and have a new Td5 one on hand, you are probably OK. Worst case you just have to get the right adapter flange if you have some older or different spec bulkhead.

Ren Ching had a very good post explaining the different seat box/tunnel covers.

Makes sense. You do not want mine then.

Worth a try.
