Could the consolidated Defender Sightings thread be "un-consolidated" a bit - perhaps into East Coast/West Coast or geograhpical regions?

I think that might be hard to do, seeing as this is a global vehicle... But I hear ya'.

What I would like to see in the Defender Sightings category could be accomplished without CVC, our trusted Moderator, having to do anything. That would be for people to only post PICS with each sighting and not... "...Well, I was traveling down I-95 from NJ to FL and I saw two Defenders. I can't remember where they were but one was pink and the other one purple. Anyone on here?..."

Drives me nuts.

looks like a series 3 109 that some one has fitted a defender hood and grill to.

On the other hand on the way back from breakfast today on PCH near Laguna Beach I bumped into a gent in a 2006 ROW spec LHD 300tdi 110, what a pain I didn't have a camera with me. So I followed him into a parking lot and we chatted. His is a 2006 registered in CA as a 2006 Defender! He brought it from a main dealer, it came through Mexico, It still has the original 2006 vin!
