fan belt broke?

Fan belt went Once my truck totally cools down can I drive it 2 miles home or should I fix it where it sits?

As long as it doesn't drive the water pump. No idea how the belts are routed on the tdi

Depends what the 2 miles are like. I'd fix it in place if possible.
Belt runs the water pump, so it will get hot pretty quick. you have a 200 or 300?

I called Ron since we are in Business now(joking), I tied a piece of small rope around the 2 pulleys at his suggestion, and the water pump actually was turning when I took off, never got above 170.
