I have someone interested in trading this truck with cash for our 110....I need this D90 like a whole in the head so I'm checking to see if anyone has interest in it before considering.

Price will be around $21-22k
Thanks,

It's exactly what i would want in a D90 from the quick look I took. But I am not really ready to buy. Seems like it would be a easy sale at less than $22K?
EDIT: Took a better look.... she's a little rough, but certainly not "bad". Just not the usual southern truck - my guess is it came from somewhere further north or central? Better than many priced even higher though. Enough minor dings and dents so you don't feel bad using the truck for what it's designed for but it looks like with some detailing and a little corrosion attention to smaller spots and some resealing it would be a good runner.
If it ran 100% and drove well and was $19K I'd seriously consider scraping some money out of my ass for it. I have a soft spot for green/white SW trucks. :)

definitely. You'd think RMR would buy it back for that.

Not trying to mess up a sale or trade, but this appears to be the same truck. (see link for pics, etc.)

Previous salvage history. Just thought a potential buyer might like to know.

Yea that is the same truck...he says it has a Alabama rebuilt title. Another reason I'm concerned with unloading it.

Oh - no way it's worth 20K. I'd pay about $14-15 for it in that case. No more, no way.

I have a 97 ST that was rolled and salvaged. It wasalways garaged and we replaced ( not fixed ) every bent part including the entire interior all new badger covers and tops the car is nicer then the 45k vehicles I see at Copleys or on Ebay for that matter. Does not burn oil frame is perfect -- So whats your point on the title issue if all things are corrected. Let me ask you does Car facts or state title disclose rust or internal engine problems/neglect. The answer is no -- I just get a kick out of people who are hung up on paperwork?? :)

If the Vehicle is taken to be Traded In at a Dealership, expect 40% or less deduction for a Salvage History, same applies to Auto Auctions.
Insurance companies will not provide you Agreed Value Coverage ( if they do would be at a highly reduced value ) and some Companies will not even Write it.
Perception will let the Potential Buyer Walk away if 2 similar Vehicles listed at equal price and one has a Dirty Past.
So I think is a little more than be HUNG UP :)

Not too mention that not every shop/owner will repair every single thing wrong with the vehicle. They may just fix the bare minimum of what caused it to be salvaged and then sell it leaving potential high $$ items to fix soon down the road that may not be apparent at the time.

Like Gustavo said, just about everyone (important, ie: insurance, banks, dealers for when/if you want to sell down the road) cares about that paperwork...regardless of whether some people do not.
