4.0 short blocks $1200 shipped

My former employer (Land Rover Main Line) has agreed to extend my internet special of new genuine 4.0 short blocks for $1200 shipped anywhere in the continental US. They can be made to fit all D90s and D110s equipped with a 3.9 or 4.0 (as well as other rover products).

It is the block designed for the Disco II. The mods necessary vary on 3.9 trucks but on 97s all you need to do is take the crank sensor plate off the old block and weld (or otherwise adhere aka epoxy) it to the new block. Very easy.

what modifications if any would need to be made for a 1996 Range Rover 4.0? I assume they are the same?

You need to transfer the crank sensor mounting plate off your old block to the new block.
