I had good luck on this site when I sold my last 97 discovery so I hope for the same on my defender LOL. Its a 1997, 43k miles, 1 owner since new. Carfax is clean, mileage is consistant, no paintwork or bodywork. Very well maintained, only thing I think it could use is a newer top as the one that is on it is original. Let me know if you have any questions.

Great looking truck. Good luck with the sale. My guess is that this vehicle will find its way to a Boston, MA car lot very soon!!! I cannot believe Keith has not snatched this up yet.

After having the vehicle inspected, I found a few problems that may or may not need immediate attention.
-Oil pan is leaking(VERY little, maybe a drop or two a day and only when it sits)
-Water pump is leaking according to the shop JC Rovers but I cant see where.
-A/C isnt working, probably just needs a recharge.
-Filler neck to fuel tank is dry rotted, needs replacing.
With all of this said, I am lowering the price to $37k
Please call me if you have any questions

Seems so little. Why not fix and keep the higher price?

Because if i fix it, people will still negotiate with me. I'd rather sell it cheap quickly.

Fair enough. If it had shot brake rotors I would take it.
