Installing side steps...

More newbie help needed. I am installing some side steps I recently purchased. Only problem is that it does'nt seem very intuitive for where the attachment points are. Does anyone know where they attach or even which step goes on the passenger vs driver side?I noticed the attachment hardware is different on the ends of each step. Pictures would be extremely helpful.

If I remember correctly when I took mine off, the longer upper bracket goes to the rear. There was a bunch of square washer type bits of metal on this end that filled the hole. Dont remember for sure.
The little 'strap' like piece goes on the front side. Now you just have to find the main mount points, and I dont think its that hard to find them. I'll go have another quick look later today, hopefully with camera.
