I have my eyes on a Range Rover Hunter. I CANNOT have 3 Rovers and a Toyota! Need to stop looking. I have an addiction - and I love every minute.

Man why you want to scare a brother like that!! Yes this D90 does look really clean. I'm sure it's fine I have good instincts. When that fails...I have tissue...lol. I'd bet its getting pretty cold over there in your neck of the plains!!

Sorry didn't mean to scare ya! Multiple Rover ownership was more what I was talking about. That does look like a pristine Rover. You will love it I am sure. It is cold out this way - in the teens. Skiing is spectacular already though! If you want have the truck driver delivering your Defender stop in Utah. I will drive the Defender just to be sure you are getting a great truck! :grin

The First D90 I bought, Me and my wife flew to Denver and drove it back!! 1800 Miles over 4 Days...we are doing the same with this one. Flying to LA on January 7th then taking 6 or 7 days to drive back, about 2800 miles more or less (more will be my guess). And we are taking Hwy 40 most of the way...Nothing sezz I love my D90 more than a road trip!

Congrats. It is a great truck and I helped Mark with most of purchase etc. My question is are you afraid to drive it cross country in winter since it is soooo rust free?

Been on that stretch through New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. In the 90's when I was in the AF my buddy and I went to Florida to go fishing in the Gulf. He spotted a Mazda Miata he wanted - sweet car - and we drove it all the way back to Utah. I wouldn't recommend it - the seats should be classified as cruel and unusual punishment. Anyway for the stretch mentioned above - bring something to read or listen to - not much to look at through there*. Have a great trip! Maybe weather will warm up enough to allow you to drop the top.

* no offense is intended - just not my cup of tea.

Yeah right...afraid of the Winter:proud...born and bred in Detroit...back in the day we would have three feet of snow on the ground!! its all good! Plus the only way to get to know the 90 is to DRIVE the 90...

you know in my old truck anything more than a four hour drive killed me and that truck was 65k off the floor. it kills me that the seats in the 90 dont get to me until the 5th or 6th hour! plus the po said he replaced the seat bottoms so the drive should be fine. yeah my wife will bring her Zune and a good book i'm sure...I do like the road...once I was stationed in Ponca City, OK. drove from Detroit to Ponca in 19 hours straight...and yep it was winter...of course I was 22 then and my ride was an 1976 Ford Mavrick four door straight six.

Now I'm 45/46...five kids and a whole lotta miles later and I still got game so...

I drove mine (seats in great condition 86k miles original) to Dillon Montana this fall - 6 hours - then another 5 the next day to Glacier Nat'l Park. The seats never got to me and the cruise control was magnificent! That is at 6' my foot was perfectly placed so I didn't get tired. Enjoy getting to know the 90.

Not the drive that is bad just picture being afraid to ruin the rust free truck

Well I want two more...I was thinkin a double cab, and an 110. the 110 comes before the double cab. My kids are already having words with who wants what when they start driving. Of course my oldest is 13 so I have awhile!

Beautiful truck! Have a great drive. I purchased my first D-90 in South Carolina...flew out and drove it 1500 miles back to Texas. A heck of a way to shake down a truck, but was a great adventure for the wife and me.

Yeah he paid him but wanted him to hold it until he had time to come get it. I think he is on the thread.
