97 SW Rear Hoop Pix Yousef

Not sure how we got on this subject today, but there is a rear hoop at the back of my SW. Attached are the pictures. The hoop post runs down just as yours does however there is a second bar that runs as you said forward horizontally and looks like an anchor for the seatbelts for the jump seats. Take a look, I will still bring it by to look at the rear suspension geometry.

For all those wondering, we were discussing weather or not the SW has a rear hoop like the STs do.

Ok, you see the bar that is running across the side of the tub, Mike does not have that!!!! Now the one that is going up to the tub, is there anything on the other side?

The same bar is on each side, I am sure its there for the jump seat seatbelts only.

Looks like you installed the "boot kit"on the rear lights. Mine are always filling with water and shorting out. Did these solve your problem?

Oh, and mine have the same bars as yours.

The vertical bar going up into the tub stops at the seam where the tub meets the roof... You can see it between the speaker cover and the rear jump seat. The second picture on the Safari Gard tire carrier install article posted on this site shows the upper section of the vertical tube where it meets the roof (they welded a bracket to it).
