Damn this hurts !

I have to let go of my fully rebuilt Defender. This sale will include the Patriot Roof Rack, Howling Moon RTT, Winch and recovery gear. All blemishes will be professionally taken care of and the paint will be spotless. Its got all you can think of and is just missing the ARB front and rear locker. The wiring and compressor are already installed.

This truck is not a "grey" truck, I have all the import documents and is registered in Quebec, Canada as what it is.

You can see the build thread here : http://www.d-90.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10946

It is priced at 68 000$USD as I am in no hurry to sell. Buyer take care of import to the US if it is the case, but I will help as much as I can to accomodate such a buyer.

Reason of sale is : size does matter ... I am now in the market for a Mercedes Unimog 1300L

Should you have any question at all or need extra pics, feel free to contact me via the board or email.

Thanks !

That is a bargain for all the work you did to it. Sad to see you sell it, but look forward to some posts of the UNIMOG!

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the kind words, just hope to see it go to a nice home as it has been a remarkably reliable and pleasant truck to drive.

Hey, question - what winch bumper is that? I've been looking for one for my rig and like the looks of that.

That is a home brew bumper, I liked allot of things on different bumpers and couldn't find one with all of what I wanted so I made it myself.

Thanks

Pat:

If you decide to part with the bumper separately let me know...OR, if you want to fab one let me know. Actually, I've been on the hunt for awhile and was looking for one ideally without the brush guard part - similar to the attached. This is a generic pic I found awhile back and I was trying to find out who made it...and which amazingly looks almost identical to yours (and hence why I dropped you a line).

I think I still have the drawings for my bumper and could possibly build another one but it would only be ready for spring as I am swamped with projects at the moment. I would probably do a small run of five of them as I would build a jig for this.

Pat:

No rush from this end, so spring is perfect...I'll drop you a line maybe March/April to check back. Would you be able to do one without the brush guard on top? I also have the bump-out grill surround for the factory A/C, not sure if that would have to be notched/etc?

You're the man,

This is one of my favorites. Just an absolutely beautifully done rebuild. Sorry to see you sell it.

Thanks for the kind words, I originally built that truck in the mindset to keep it forever, a labor of love. But as life throws curve balls at every one it is going to be too small for a RTW trip with two kids ...

Who knows, by the time I get a descent offer I might end up in a condition ($$) to keep it and still get the Mog !

Life swings both way ...
