Anyone know who carries a set of sand ladder mounts (that hopefully fit a 97 90 rack)?

I got mine from Mantec, to fit a Brownchurch rack.

From memory, I think it'd be difficult to modify them to fit the NAS rack.
Cheers,
Nick.

FYI. The sand track mounts used on all Camel's as supplied by Mantec, are nothing more than lengths of threaded bar and wing nuts. The circular plates used to secure the sand track to the rack are in fact, the metal discs supplied by the factory to secure Classic Range Rover spare wheels in place in the back of the vehicle.
As has already been said, it would be difficult to mount them to the roll cage, as the threaded bar goes through the flat square section of the Camel racks. Short of drilling a hole in your cage, it looks like you're looking at fabricating something to clamp onto the cage.

hi
i owuld have thought you could use scaffolding clamps onto the cage
whack them on get a large wingnut that will fit on the threaded end that sticks out slide the sand ladders on get a large washer<plate of steel /aluminum> about 8 inch in diamiter with the correct size hole in the center
saying that i dont know if you have scaffolding clamps over there the same as we do here but here they are very cheap and should be pretty much the right size for a roll cage i did this on my old SIIA trialer with a saftey devices roll cage
if you get stuck sourcing clamps in the US gimmie a shout and ill send ya a couple over :)

Follow-up Post:
just done a quick search this is the kinda thing i was thinking about
http://www.crocodilescaffolding.co.uk/products.php#DualClamps
take a look at the HALF SWIVEL COUPLER there is a clicky on the poage too with the dimensions
i was thinking if you clamped that onto your cage (using a locking nut rather than the standard nut supplied with it) then you could get a bolt thru the hole at the side of whatever length would suit you (depends on how many sndladders you carry) then just pop the aluminum / steel washer you made and a large wingnut of the right size youd be away and laughing :)

Interesting. Thanks for the feedback guys. Who else sells Mantec around besides RA? Sent them an enquiry and got back an informative "no we don't". Might just modify Mantec kit to suit. Perhaps mounting to a HALF SWIVEL COUPLER. ;)
