I have been having a rattling/clunking sound coming from the rear of the truck. It is most noticeable at slower speeds and over bumps. The noise happens when my rear wheels go over the bumps. I tightened the rear door and the tire on the rear door and it is clear that the noise is coming from under the bed. I went under the defender and checked around and couldn't find anything that is loose. I can isolate the noise by bouncing the rear of the truck up and down when it is parked. Anyone have any ideas before i take it to the shop (where i am sure they will say that nothing is wrong or they cant find the noise)?

Thanks
Andy

Well if you are sure it is not the rear tire carrier (I have thought that there was something under rattleing only to find out it is the rear tire carrier), then I would get under there and grab and shak any of the suspension parts. If you can reproduce it by having someone jumping in it while you look around under it I'm sure you will be able to find it.
