Wish I could go (as I have been wanting to go to The Romp for some time now).
Couldn't abandon my wife after just having a baby (she's due beginning of Feb)
Honey... I'm just going out to get some more milk and diapers. Be back in a few......... ;)

I took my [ex] gf last year and she was fine, but she grew up on a farm in north dakota so . . . .

PM me when you figure out what your plans are. I really should fix my LWB's brakes and take that, but it has been too cold here and snowing to get anything done.

plenty of heat indoors and in the trucks out on the trails. and goodwill usually has a good selection of cheap winter gear. my GF is from Hawaii and is about as warm blooded as they get. WR is the only LR event she goes to. That said, I don't know if she will make it this year. In which case I may have a passenger seat.

Is this the same girlfriend that you froze on your virgin run in the rover with no top? This will be just like that but colder with the chance of breaking things and getting stuck in the woods in the middle of the night. :)

Sure, just stop in. I'll be leaving around 1PM as there are quite a few people stopping in for this and that.......I'll have the shop open Thursday all day and Friday until noon...and the coffee on for anyone that want's to stop by ( 5 min from I-95 at the Maine border)
There is some good stuff to see :) (6- 90's, 3- 110's, a half dozen Series rigs and a huge pile of junk! ....not including the actual junkyd, which is pretty much burried in snow.....or the antique dirt bikes .....or the KTM race bikes set up for snow/ice.....
GF's rig is still in build stage, and pretty sweet (I may have to offer her a job).
My IIA might have to stay home unless I get time to put a new fuel tank in it, which is difficult as I drive it daily and it is suffering from the CKSS (Cobblers Kids Shoe Syndrome).

The SwampSlut is ready to go.

Just hope for warmish days so the snow will actually pack! Although hearing a finely tuned 4.6 with 37's hammer white fluffy powder is awesome, after the first hour it just becomes a drag :)

His name is escaping me at the moment. It's a series body put on the rolling chassis of a Disco 2. Awesome truck. I think he works at Cityside Garage

I didn't measure after it fell. I was too busy cleaning it all up :). Maybe 8-10 inches or so? It has settled a bit now. Models are kind've conflicting but it looks like more Saturday too.

Hi all we are looking forward to the Romp again this year. We are the crew with the cute blonde in fire boots and the bull dog.
Jeff the website is www.seedbean.com. My girlfriend Jassy is doing a winter romp warm up special for any one who shows up in a rover or on the way to Romp. There is plenty of parking and its only about a mile from the Kennebunk Exit on 95. Come off the exit take a right and go over the highway to the light. Go straight through and the coffee shop is on your left. She has coffee by design out of Portland Maine and all kinds of goodies.

Im still working on mine........always last minute stuff man!

had a setback with my rear diff........trying to get it installed this weekend and see if the noise is gone! as it is now i probably wont have time to set up the air supply for the front locker

something is wrong with the rear diff and the noise is still from the pinion area.......with no load, on jack stands the pinion is still noisey when off and on the gas pedal

That sucks. Maybe someone has a a rear diff they can lend you for the romp.

maybe but i doubt it....ive got Keiths toy swap in there and the rear diff case i think is screwed up.....ive had a few people look at the setup and i think there is a tight spot in the pinion bearing section with new bearings

sucks for sure i had a blast last year and now with the new kit in my truck i cant go and beat on it!

I’m booked got a King bed non smoker executive room.....$55 per night nice.

Talked to Jenna at the front desk and she said she had 40 booked rooms. Hopefully the hotel bar will be open later than usual.

Also heard 3 or 4 people will be camping.
