Gents,
I purchased a RRC approximately 8 years ago from Roy Acuff of country music fame. The truck was very nice. I drove it, then decided to sell it to my cousin as I found a mint D-90 in North Carolina. My cousin kept the truck largely undriven. A the time of my sale to him, every service was stamped at a land rover dealership. The truck currently has 75K miles on it. It is in good shape cosmetically but has some scratches on the hood that appear ok after a wheel out. The original suspension is intact but not bulletproof. One of the ballasts has a small leak that drives the compressor more than usual. He contemplated fixing the ballast but I recommended that he either do the coil conversion of simply sell as-is, have the new owner decide the best course of action...he has chosen the latter. I would by this truck but decided upon another RRC more project worthy. This truck spent much of its time in Nashville/in a garage so its rust issues are neglible if any. The rear talilgate was recently replaced. My cousin has little knowledge of the niche market, hence my posting for it. The truck is not in my possesion, but I will do my best to respond to specific inquiries as received.
The seat heaters do not work, the catytic converter does rattle. The ABS sensor lamp is on due to a recent brake job. The tires are new. Full brush guards that have been powder coated.
This would be a good truck for someone to enjoy, make nicely represented daily driver.
Price is 7500 or best offer. I believe to be a good buy. Please pardon any delays on responses as i will have to go to inspect the truck to respond comprehensively.
